Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is integral to ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the company's accounting operations. Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes, including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure proper classification and reporting.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance.
• Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate coding, timely payments, and proper expense recognition.
• Manage full cycle accounting processes, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure timely reporting.
• Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required-preferably in Accounting; Finance, Economics, or other business-related fields will also be considered.
• 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate).
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

Skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced functions.
• Proficiency in accounting software (ERP experience a plus).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
